Became a Christian...
Disclaimer: I'm not as snarky as what you hear On-Air. :) I like to think I'm a nice person, but they say self-analysis is impossible to pull off, but hey, I'm trying here... Anyway--the story--> I grew up with a mom that faithfully took us to church every week. When it came to my senior year of high school and first year of college, I began to realize some thing... that I was a Christian because I was taught to be. While there's good things about that from a Christian point of view, if I was being intellectually honest, I'd have to admit I hadn't given much thought as to why I claimed to have this belief. It was a hard thing to realize, but over the last few years I've tried to shed off what was only an act of faith and not a fully genuine uprising of trust in my heart. I wanted to get rid of that empty system and actually find where & how God is working in our lives. And here we are! One thing I love about our God is that He always shows up. It may be awhile in a season of waiting, but if we give Him what is due by waiting in honesty & reverence, and avoid fabricating fake experiences with Him, the arrival of His word on our hearts is AMAZING when He grants it, and the most true thing we can know. Let's settle for nothing less than truly knowing God & becoming more like Him. From time to time I might share things God is showing me with you On-Air --usually on The Prelude, (Sundays @ 9AM MST,) but for all the other days I focus on a promise Jesus gave to us in the Beatitudes-- Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. (Matthew 5:8)

Why are you a DJ?
Are you kidding me? It's the best job ever. I get to connect with people all over the place! Or tell really cheesey jokes--which, is starting to become the norm...sorry. (Not sorry.)

Music
The Prelude is my favorite. Listen in on Sundays at 9AM MST.

I'm turning into an indie-pop nerd.

I like hardcore when the screams aren't excessive...or when Stevo & Matteo make me mad. (Often.)(Just kidding, I love them. 98% of the time.)

You know, it's very awkward to have to come up with your own questions.
Just for the record, I did not kill the fish.

Twitter/Instagram?
Yep! However, it might bore you to find out I'm not as cool as Matteo says I am.

Matteo

On-Air: 6am - 10am

Where did you grow up
I grew up near Tupelo, MS. It's where Elvis was born.
He's the king of rock 'n' roll. Well…he was. Until he died.
…I'm sorry I brought that up.

Became a Christian
I've always been a Christian, even before I was born. I can still faintly remember coming down from the celestial plane and turning into a baby so that I could be born into the physical world. I'm currently awaiting the signal to ascend the ranks of governing office of the United States so I can begin my mission of turning this world into the best place ever, a d...

Where did you grow up
Right here in the 505! Half of my life in Albuquerque, the other half in the East Mountains. Mo-Town represent!

Became a Christian
After growing up in a spiritually empty home, I gave my life to Jesus in September of 2006. Even though I have a specific date/place/time of when I confessed Jesus as my Savior, it was a process of letting Him actually be my Lord. Moment after moment, trial after trial, God revealed what it meant to rely wholly on Him. Those times of being unsure of what God was ...

On-Air: Yes in the morning
Birthday: July 16

Where did you grow up
I'm still waiting to grow up.

Became a Christian
I grew up in a Christian home. I walked down at an altar call when I was seven years old, but I only did it because I wanted to be onstage with Psalty, so that didn't really count. It wasn't until my twenties when I realized there was more to Christianity than just attending church and "being good."
