We love providing opportunities for you to bring your friends to Calvary so they can receive a chance to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. On November 29-30, we are excited to welcome guest speaker Franklin Graham at all four weekend services, where he'll share a special gospel message. Franklin Graham has devoted his life to meeting the needs of people around the world while proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ. The eldest son of Billy and Ruth Bell Graham, he serves as president and CEO of Samaritan's Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. Under his leadership, Samaritan's Purse conducts the annual Operation Christmas Child shoebox project and has met the needs of poor, sick, and suffering people in more than 100 countries.
Ladies! The Christmas season is fast approaching, but she Ministries wants to invite you to slow down with us as we learn how to be a gift to those around us. Join us on Tuesday, December 2, at 9:30 am or 6:30 pm at Calvary Albuquerque for BOGO: Buy One, GIFT One. This year kicks off with a traditional Christmas tea, followed by a message from Sonia Montoya of Calvary Chapel Southwest on how we can gift those around us with presents not found in a store. We will also host a Lovely Market, an inspiring marketplace featuring local artists and crafters. Anyone can stop by from 8:30-10:30 am, 11:30 am - 1:30 pm, or 4:30-7:30 pm to find special Christmas gifts for loved ones. Tickets for BOGO are just $10. Seating is limited, and we expect to sell out, so don't miss this chance to start your celebration of the birth of Jesus with your sisters here at Calvary! You can find more information or purchase tickets when you visit the kiosk in the east foyer.
Tickets for the 6:30 pm session have sold out.
Join us as we take a break from the hustle and bustle of the season to focus wholly on our Lord. Come to Calvary Albuquerque for a concert with Fernando Ortega and his orchestra on Wednesday, December 17, at 7 pm in the sanctuary. Fernando Ortega is noted for his interpretations of traditional hymns, praise songs, and worship music.
The best Christmas gift is one you can receive and share with others, and that gift is Jesus Christ. Come celebrate His birth with Calvary Albuquerque on Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24. Bring your children to a special family service at 2 pm, where we'll have birthday cake for Jesus, or join us at 4 or 6 pm, when Bible Island will provide children's ministry. An ASL interpreter will be available at the 6 pm service to share the message with the hearing impaired. Come be encouraged by Pastor Skip's message "The Gift" from Romans 5:16 and enjoy Christmas music from the Battle Drums Worship team.
And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification (Romans 5:16).
